The Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) Access Bus provides transportation for residents with disabilities who are unable to use the regular Minibuses due to limited mobility or other conditions. This appointment-based service operates seven days a week and can be easily identified by its white exterior and large orange stripe above the front windshield.
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Service is available to all destinations covered by the regular Minibus routes.
Appointments can be made up to three days in advance, and time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Golden Age Foundation has generously donated buses to support the Access transportation program, helping ensure mobility and independence for Leisure World residents.
Approximately 58,000 passengers ride the blue and white Leisure World shuttles each year.
There are more than 60 bus benches and shelters conveniently located throughout the community.
For over 30 years, at least half of the fleet has operated on cleaner-burning LPG (propane) fuel, supporting a greener community.
Monthly Minibus Information Classes are held in Clubhouse 3, offering residents an overview of how to use the Minibus system, routes, and schedules.
The sessions also cover other transportation options available to Leisure World residents.
Class dates and times are published regularly in the LW Weekly.
